π Scaly Safari Visits Aaron Court Care Home β Courage, Smiles, and Snakes! π
Aaron Court resident meeting Xander, our blue-tongued skink
What an incredible afternoon we had at Aaron Court Care Home in Ellesmere Port! The residents absolutely blew us away with their courage and enthusiasm during our latest Scaly Safari animal encounter.
When we arrived, a few residents told us theyβd happily watch but not touch β but by the end of the session, they were sitting proudly with a great big snake draped around their shoulders, holding friendly lizards, and even meeting our tarantula up close! π·οΈ
The care home team summed it up perfectly:
βWords cannot express how proud I am of these residents today β from βIβm not holding anythingβ to sitting with a great big snake around them or holding other reptiles shows such courage! The only downside was I could hardly say no when asked to hold the tarantula! Well done all and thank you, Scaly Safari Co.β

Moments like these are exactly why we love what we do. Itβs not just about meeting fascinating creatures β itβs about overcoming fears, building confidence, and creating joy through connection with nature.
We brought along some of our most loved animals, including snakes, lizards, and invertebrates, giving residents a chance to learn about their unique adaptations and personalities. The smiles said it all!
