What a spook-tacular afternoon we had at the Little Sprouts Halloween Special at Ysgol Llywelyn in Rhyl! 👻🧡 The hall was filled with laughter, creativity, and just the right amount of spooky fun as children got hands-on with creepy crafts, gooey potions, and real-life creatures from the Scaly Safari team!
A Magical Halloween Afternoon for Little Explorers
The Little Sprouts Playgroup went all out to create an unforgettable Halloween experience for little ones. From spider playdough and messy play to a magical watery slime tea party, the room buzzed with imagination and excitement. The children poured, stirred, and served colourful “potions” to their friends — all while learning through play and sensory fun.
Meeting Real Creepy Crawlies with Scaly Safari 🕷️🦎
We were thrilled to be invited along to make this Halloween extra special! We brought some of our most fascinating creatures for the children (and grown-ups!) to meet up close — including:
🐍 Snakes of all shapes and sizes
🕷️ A Tarantula
🦂 A Scorpion
🪱 Giant African Millipedes
We loved seeing the children’s reactions — from giggles and gasps to brave first touches! We’re always amazed by how curious and confident little explorers can be when given the chance to meet our amazing animals in a safe, calm setting.
